1st Midwife Appointment orig 8/07/08

Today we all made the trek over to Atascadero for our baby's first appointment. It turns out that the Midwife that was assigned to us, Joanna, knows my favorite Midwife EVER- Mary Kay, who delivered Alaethia in Anaheim and stood by my side during the nausea and odd things of my last pregnancy. Small World!!! So now I feel like I am in good hands, because to be quite honest with you, I haven't been too impressed yet with this whole Medi-cal Healthcare thing.

Anyways, we all (Keith, Laeth and I) got to hear the baby's heartbeat!! I forgot how amazing that is!! Joanna (the midwife) said that she was very impressed with how strong the baby's heartbeat is! Good to know that all this morning sickness is worth it!
